ALOR SETAR, 5 March 2026 – The AIU Thai Students Association (ATSA), in collaboration with the Thai Students Association in Malaysia (TSAM) and the Centre for Student Affairs and Alumni (CSAA) at Albukhary International University, successfully organised “A Table of Blessings – TSAM Iftar 2026” across several venues on campus, including LT2, Library Café, and the Convo Foyer.
The programme brought together Thai students studying in Malaysia during the holy month of Ramadan, providing a meaningful platform to reconnect, share experiences, and strengthen friendships within the Thai student community. The initiative aimed to foster unity, encourage the exchange of ideas, and promote greater understanding among students from diverse backgrounds.
The event was honoured by the presence of Kantapon Sangkhapreecha, representative from the Thai Consulate, whose attendance reflected the strong relationship between the Thai diplomatic community and Thai students pursuing their studies in Malaysia.
The highlight of the programme was the communal iftar gathering, where participants came together to break their fast in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, strengthening bonds of solidarity and cultural appreciation.
The programme was organised under the guidance of advisor Mohamad Mokhlis Ahmad Fuad, whose support contributed to the successful implementation of the event.
