ALOR SETAR, 5 March 2026 – The Al-Qur’an and Islamic Club (AL-QISC), in collaboration with the Centre for Student Affairs and Alumni (CSAA) at Albukhary International University, successfully organised the Islamic Public Speaking Competition at the AIU Auditorium.
The programme aimed to empower students to articulate Islamic principles with clarity, eloquence, and strong conviction while strengthening their public speaking skills. The competition provided a meaningful platform for students to share insightful perspectives on Islamic values through well-prepared speeches and engaging presentations.
Participants delivered their speeches before a distinguished panel of judges comprising Nurul Hamidah Binti Mohd Hamdi, Osaid N. A. Abdaljawwad, and Nidhoil Mohamed Ibrahim. Contestants were evaluated based on content quality, delivery, and their ability to engage the audience effectively.
The competition encouraged students to deepen their understanding of Islamic themes through research and public discourse, while fostering unity and spiritual reflection among the diverse AIU community.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony followed by a grand iftar gathering, celebrating the participants’ achievements and reinforcing the spirit of togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan. The programme was organised under the guidance of Club Advisor, Osaid N. A. Abdaljawwad.
