AIU Bachelor of Economics Conducts “Sinar Harapan Program” at Taman Sinar Harapan Jitra

ALOR SETAR, 13 APRIL 2026 – The first visit for the community engagement programme, “Sinar Harapan: Creative Activities with Children with Disabilities,” was successfully conducted at Taman Sinar Harapan Jitra (TSH) on 6 April 2026, in collaboration with Albukhary International University (AIU).

This initiative forms part of the Bachelor of Economics Community Engagement efforts, under the supervision of Ms. Farah Syazwani Hayrol Aziz as the main supervisor, with support from Ms. Nurzalyna Mohamed Zaki as the assisting lecturer.

The session, held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, featured a series of social interaction and creative activities designed to engage and uplift the residents. These activities provided a meaningful platform for interaction, fostering joy, creativity, and a sense of inclusion among the children.

This program aims to strengthen collaboration between welfare institutions and higher education institutions, while also supporting the continuous social, emotional, and overall well-being development of TSH residents.

The management of TSH extends its highest appreciation and gratitude to all parties involved for their commitment, dedication, and cooperation in ensuring the success of this meaningful initiative.
