AIU Celebrates The Class of 2025 at Graduates Farewell Dinner

ALOR SETAR, 1 January 2025 — Albukhary International University (AIU) marked a meaningful milestone with the Graduates Farewell Dinner 2025 on 12 December 2025, themed “The Final Chapter, The New Beginning”, celebrating the achievements and transition of the Class of 2025 into the professional world.

The event was graced by Pro-Chancellor Sonny Bill Williams, Chairman of the Board of Governors Syed Mohamad Albukhary, Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh Bin Jaafar, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr. Hj. Mohamad Abdullah Bin Hemdi, Registrar Madam Norpisah Binti Mat Isa, members of the AIU Senate, distinguished guests from Uganda and Saudi Arabia, as well as graduating students.

In his address, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the graduates and reminded them of the responsibility that comes with education, encouraging them to contribute meaningfully to society while upholding resilience, integrity, and lifelong learning. The Pro-Chancellor echoed this message, urging graduates to embrace opportunities with confidence and to carry AIU’s values wherever they go.

The evening was further enlivened by cultural performances representing Malaysia, Myanmar, Zimbabwe, and Indonesia, reflecting AIU’s rich multicultural spirit. Graduates also enjoyed a celebratory dinner and commemorative photo sessions, marking a memorable conclusion to their academic journey.

The Graduates Farewell Dinner 2025 reaffirmed AIU’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded, values-driven graduates ready to make a positive impact on society and the world.
