PPI AIU In Collaboration with ALQISC and CSAA Hosts “Gema Takbir” Programme to Celebrate Eid and Strengthen Student Unity

ALOR SETAR, 7 April 2026 – Albukhary International University (AIU) came alive with the spirit of Eid through the “Gema Takbir” held on 20 March 2026, bringing together 57 students for a memorable and spiritually enriching celebration

The programme was organised by Persatuan Pelajar Indonesia (PPI) AIU in collaboration with the Al-Qur’an & Islamic Club (ALQISC) and the Centre for Student Affairs and Alumni (CSAA), under the guidance of PPI’s respective advisor, Mr Mohd Fadli Zakaria. It provided students with a meaningful platform to reflect on the holy month of Ramadan, express gratitude, and strengthen bonds of unity within the AIU community.

A key highlight of the programme was a vibrant takbir procession around the AIU campus, where students carried torches and chanted takbir together, creating a lively and spiritually uplifting atmosphere in celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Through this initiative, participants celebrated the festive season while reinforcing the values of faith and togetherness, fostering a stronger sense of belonging and solidarity within the AIU community.
