The programme was organised by the Literature Club under the guidance of Madam Sherina Shahnaz, in collaboration with the Centre for Student Affairs and Alumni (CSAA).
The event marked the official launch of “Echoes of Unity: The Revolution of Empathy”, beginning with an interactive “Wall of Empathy” session that set a reflective tone, followed by welcoming remarks by Mr Mohd Noor Izam, Director of CSAA.
A key highlight was the global roundtable forum, featuring distinguished panelists:

Mr Osaid N. A. Abdaljawwad – Head of Programme, Bachelor of Economics
Ms Arezo Jafari – ASNN Vice President and Author
H.E. Erik Solheim – Former United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Minister of International Development
The forum provided valuable insights on global challenges, empathy-driven solutions, and inclusive dialogue, further enriched by active participation from both physical and online audiences. Tokens of appreciation were presented, including book contributions to the university library and lecturers. The programme concluded with a symbolic “Empathy-in-Action” pledge, reinforcing participants’ commitment to translating ideas into meaningful impact.
