AIU CFGS Organises Introduction to Programming Workshop

ALOR SETAR, 12 March 2026 – The Centre for Foundation and General Studies (CFGS) at Albukhary International University successfully conducted an Introduction to Programming Workshop for foundation students on 28 February 2026.

The workshop aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of basic programming concepts and complement what they have learned in class. The session featured a guest lecturer, Puan Ratnasari Binti Lokman from Universiti Utara Malaysia, who shared insights on logical thinking, basic coding structures, and problem-solving techniques.

Students also participated in hands-on activities where they practiced writing simple programs and explored how programming can be used to solve basic problems. The interactive session encouraged collaboration, questions, and active learning among participants.

Overall, the workshop provided valuable exposure for students to strengthen their programming foundation while nurturing greater interest in the field of computing.
