
AIU Students Represent Zimbabwe Culture at AIESEC WNC 2026

ALOR SETAR, 11 March 2026 – A total of 15 students from Albukhary International University participated in the AIESEC Winter National Conference (WNC) 2026 held at Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sintok on 4 March 2026.
The delegation comprised 12 members from the Zimbabwe Committee and 3 representatives from the Student Representative Council (SRC). They were invited to take part in the Global Village special event, a cultural segment promoting international understanding through cultural exchange.
During the event, AIU students organised a cultural booth showcasing Zimbabwe’s heritage, traditions, and national identity. They also performed a vibrant cultural dance, sharing traditional Zimbabwean expressions with participants from various universities.
The conference provided a valuable platform for youth leaders to engage in networking, collaboration, and cultural exchange while promoting leadership aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through this participation, AIU students demonstrated strong cultural representation and active engagement in global youth initiatives, reflecting AIU’s commitment to intercultural understanding and student leadership.
