AIU Honours SRC 2024/2025 at Certificate Giving Ceremony

ALOR SETAR, 23 February 2026 – On 12 February 2026, Albukhary International University successfully organised the Certificate Giving Ceremony for the Students’ Representative Council 2024/2025. The ceremony, coordinated by the Centre for Student Affairs and Alumni, was held at the Senate Foyer, Level 3, Chancellery Building, beginning at 10.30 a.m.

The programme commenced with opening remarks by the emcee followed by a dua’ recitation. The ceremony was officiated by the Vice-Chancellor and President of AIU, who delivered an inspiring address emphasising the vital role of student leaders in upholding the university’s mission and values while fostering a positive and inclusive campus environment.

This was followed by speeches from the Director of CSAA and the SRC President, reflecting on the council’s achievements, initiatives, and contributions throughout their tenure. The ceremony served as a platform to recognise the dedication, leadership, and commitment of SRC members in representing the student body and acting as a bridge between students and university management.

The highlight of the event was the certificate presentation session, where SRC members were formally acknowledged for their service. The ceremony concluded with an official photo session and a farewell lunch, providing an opportunity for meaningful engagement between university management and SRC members.

The event marked a significant milestone and a meaningful closure to the SRC 2024/2025 term, celebrating their invaluable contributions to the AIU community under the guidance of CSAA.
