
AIU Kicks Off The New Year with Academic Visit and Community Engagement at Taman Sinar Harapan

ALOR SETAR, 1 January 2026 — Albukhary International University (AIU) began the year with a meaningful academic visit and community engagement at Taman Sinar Harapan (TSH), Jitra, bringing students and academics together to connect classroom learning with real-world social impact.
Students from the Gender and Development, Human Service Organization, and Demography courses participated in activities designed to foster empathy, civic responsibility, and practical understanding of social inequality and care systems.
The delegation was accompanied by

Organisers highlighted starting the year by serving and learning alongside the less fortunate as a way to nurture social awareness and collaboration. The visit also strengthened ties between AIU and community-based care centres, supporting sustainable development initiatives.
