ALOR SETAR, 29 December 2025 — Albukhary International University (AIU), through its Centre of Reference (COR), successfully carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme on 22–23 December 2025 under The NEED Project, reinforcing its commitment to community engagement and sustainable development.
The initiative benefited Sekolah Kebangsaan Hosba (SK Hosba), focusing on upgrading the school’s resource centre to create a more conducive learning environment. The programme involved 63 AIU administrative staff, who participated in repainting works, space reorganisation, and book arrangement to enhance accessibility and functionality.
SK Hosba, which serves 462 students from surrounding rural communities, welcomed the initiative as a meaningful contribution to improving its learning facilities. The programme began at the AIU Chancellery before moving to the school, with activities coordinated following a briefing by Ms. Syuhada Ali.
Cikgu Kamarulzaman bin Che Nik, Guru Besar of SK Hosba, expressed his appreciation to AIU for the initiative and hoped for continued collaboration in strengthening the school’s learning environment.
