
AIU Enhances Staff Understanding Through EOMS 21001:2018 Town Hall Session

ALOR SETAR, 4 November 2025 – The Centre for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (CQAA) successfully conducted the EOMS 21001:2018 Town Hall Session at the University Auditorium on 3 November 2025, aimed at enhancing staff understanding of the Educational Organisation Management System (EOMS) in accordance with ISO 21001:2018 standards.
The session began with an inspiring opening address by the Vice Chancellor, who highlighted how a well-structured system enables smoother operations, clearer coordination, and better outcomes across all university functions. He emphasized that an effective system not only boosts efficiency but also ensures every department aligns with AIU’s mission and objectives.
The Director of CQAA then delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the process timeline, key highlights from audit reports, and the EOMS KPI dashboard. It also covered SWOT and Risk Analysis, documentation categories, and the EOMS Policy Statement, giving staff a holistic understanding of AIU’s quality management framework under ISO 21001:2018.
As part of the dissemination effort, the EOMS Policy Statement is attached with this release, reaffirming AIU’s top management commitment to implementing and sustaining the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organisation Management System across all departments.
The CQAA extends sincere appreciation to the Vice Chancellor for his inspiring insights, to all staff for their participation, and to every department for their continuous support.
