AIU Welcomes New Students through MINI Week of Welcome (WOW) 1.0!

ALOR SETAR, 31 October 2025 – Albukhary International University (AIU) successfully concluded MINI Week of Welcome (WOW) 1.0, a two-day orientation programme held on 27 and 28 October 2025, dedicated to welcoming the October 2025 Batch 1 intake.

The event began with the Official Welcome & University Introduction by Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh Bin Jaafar, accompanied by the AIU video showcase. Day 1 also featured interactive sessions, including Meet & Greet with SRC and ARC, Icebreaking, and a series of informative briefings by various departments covering Scholarship, Finance, Student Welfare, EMGS/VISA, Health Insurance, Academic and Examination, and Facilities.

Day 2 continued with an insightful session on Mental Health & Student Support by Madam Fazlia Binti Azhari, followed by an energetic Amazing Race organised by PEERS, and concluded with a Closing Ceremony officiated by CSAA Deputy Director, Madam Nurul Huda Hasan Bakri.

AIU extends heartfelt appreciation to SRC, ARC, PEERS, Media Club, and all volunteers for their teamwork and dedication in ensuring the success of MINI WOW 1.0.
