SUCCESS OF MQA VIRTUAL AUDIT FOR MASTER OF EDUCATION PROGRAMME & A CELEBRATION OF FIRST POSTGRADUATE GRADUATE

Alor Setar, 28 July 2025 – Albukhary International University (AIU) proudly announces the successful completion of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Virtual Audit (MQAVA) for the Master of Education programme (MQA/FA 14318), held on 24 and 25 July 2025 via Zoom platform.

 

The audit was conducted virtually and comprised several key sessions, including interviews with the Head of Programme, selected academic staff, and students. One of the highlights of the audit was the virtual facilities tour, streamed live to the MQA Panel, showcasing key academic and support facilities such as the computer lab, classrooms, strong room, postgraduate room, and library.

 

The MQA Panel provided constructive feedback on four areas (Area 1: Governance, Area 2: Curriculum Design, Area 4: Student Assessment, and Area 5: Student Selection and Support Services), highlighting opportunities for further enhancement. Meanwhile, Areas 3 (Teaching and Learning), 6 (Educational Resources), and 7 (Programme Monitoring and Review) were deemed satisfactory and compliant with MQA standards.

 

This successful audit marks a significant milestone in AIU’s continuous pursuit of academic excellence and quality assurance in postgraduate education.

 

The AIU community extends heartfelt congratulations to Auliantika Selian, our first postgraduate student to successfully complete the Master of Education programme, and expresses sincere thanks to all staff, students, and stakeholders who contributed to the audit process.
