ALOR SETAR, 9 March 2026 – Albukhary International University (AIU), through the Centre for Student Affairs and Alumni (CSAA) in collaboration with the Human Resource Department, Student Representative Council (SRC), and the AIU Al-Qur’an and Islamic Club (AL-QISC), successfully organised the AIU Ramadhan Iftar Program 2026 on 6 March 2026.
The programme was supported by 54 student facilitators who assisted in coordinating preparations and ensuring the smooth implementation of the event.
The programme began at 6:30 PM at the Convocation Hall with a Tazkirah, Yasin Recitation, and Du’a session. This was followed by a light break-fast and Maghrib prayer at 7:32 PM. The main iftar gathering then continued at 7:45 PM at the Convocation Courtyard and Chancellery Foyer, bringing together members of the AIU community in a warm and meaningful atmosphere.
Guests were served a variety of dishes including biryani, chicken red sauce curry, beef curry with potatoes, stir-fried cabbage, papadom crackers, mushroom soup, and mung bean sweet soup. Live food stalls also featured prawn fritters with peanut sauce, palm sugar fritters, and ABC shaved ice dessert, alongside fresh fruits and beverages such as orange drink, sirap, sarsi, teh tarik, teh O, and kopi O.
The programme provided a meaningful platform to strengthen unity, gratitude, and togetherness among the AIU community while embracing the spiritual values of the blessed month of Ramadan.
