ALOR SETAR, 19 May 2025 – The Human Resource Management Club – Inspiring Talents, under the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS) at Albukhary International University (AIU), successfully conducted Workshop Series 1 on 12 May 2025. Themed “How to Master Time Management & Nail Your Internship,” the workshop aimed to equip students with essential skills for excelling in their internship experiences.
The session was conducted by AIU HRM Club Mentorship Team and the speaker Madam Noor Jannah Afi, an experienced lecturer at SBSS, who captivated the audience with practical strategies on managing time efficiently and maximizing the value of internship experiences.
Drawing from real-life examples and interactive tools like the Eisenhower Matrix, SMART goal setting, and productivity techniques such as Pomodoro and Salami Method, the speaker highlighted how effective time management directly influences academic and professional success. She also emphasized the importance of intentional learning during internships—encouraging students to reflect, stay organized, seek feedback, and remain proactive throughout their experiential journey.
Students gained insights into setting personal milestones, building meaningful professional relationships, and developing soft skills that align with workplace expectations—skills that are often overlooked but essential for long-term career growth.
This workshop is part of a larger effort by the HRM Club to empower students with industry-relevant knowledge and personal development tools, preparing them for a competitive job market. It reflects the club’s commitment to bridging academic learning with practical experience, while supporting AIU’s core values of Aqidah, Akhlaq, Adab, Amanah, and Amalan
