The Vice-Chancellor and President’s Office assists the Vice-Chancellor and President to carry out official leadership, academic and administrative duties for the whole of Albukhary International University (AIU). The Vice-Chancellor and President’s Office is responsible for ensuring that the policies, strategic directions, and development are in line with the aspiration of the University based on the AIU philosophy, AIU core values (5As – Aqidah, Akhlaq, Adab, Amanah, and Amalan), AIU mission, and vision. The Office is also responsible for the maintenance and development of the University’s corporate governance framework including ensuring regulatory and legislative requirements placed upon the University’s Governance structure are fulfilled.
The Vice-Chancellor and President’s Office coordinates administrative affairs between Schools, Departments, Sections, and Units with the University’s top management. The Office also provides assistance for the Vice-Chancellor and President to render AIU duties locally and internationally and in civic and ceremonial responsibilities. In addition to the administration division, the Chancellery Department lies under the direct authority of the Vice-Chancellor and President and consists of the Quality Assurance Unit and Corporate Communication Unit.
