The Admission Unit is responsible for managing the offering and enrolment process for prospective students. As the primary point of contact, it guides applicants through the necessary steps from receiving offers to accepting them. This unit handles all administrative tasks related to admission, including extending offers, communicating with applicants, processing payments, and making decisions regarding offers and acceptances. The Admission Unit oversees the entire process from the initial offer to the final arrival and registration on campus ensuring that new students transition smoothly into AIU while meeting all University and regulatory requirements. The Unit is also the main point of reference for matters relating to the records of enrolled students.
The Admission Unit’s Jurisdictions:
- Offering Process:Managing the issuance of admission offers and guiding applicants through the offer acceptance process.
- Administrator for University and Government Systems: Overseeing all student records in university systems and government systems related to student data.
- Student Registration: Facilitating the registration process for newly admitted students.
- Student Records Management:Maintaining and securely filing all student records.
- Admission Clearance:Ensuring that students have no outstanding issues before leaving AIU, facilitating a smooth transition out. This includes fulfilling all necessary university and immigration procedures.
