AIU Postgraduates Build Qualitative Research Mastery through SEHS NVivo Workshop

ALOR SETAR, 19 November 2025 – Albukhary International University successfully conducted the SEHS Postgraduate Workshop: Hands-on NVivo Training for Qualitative Data Analysis on Monday, 10 November 2025. The intensive session, facilitated by Dr. Nur Anisa binti Ibrahim Gani, equipped postgraduate students with essential skills for advanced qualitative research.

Organised by the School of Education and Human Sciences, the workshop began with a welcoming address by the Postgraduate Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bakare Kazeem. The session was smoothly hosted by Madam Rubini Radza, SEHS lecturer and postgraduate secretary.

The programme received strong support from the Dean of SEHS, Professor Dr. Abdul Malek bin Abdul Karim, and was further enriched by the presence of faculty members, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tengku Shahrom, Madam Aini, and Madam Alia. Their involvement reflects SEHS’s commitment to continuous professional development and student success.

The six-hour workshop was highly interactive and well-received. Dr. Nur Anisa provided step-by-step guidance that enabled students to apply NVivo techniques such as coding, data organisation, and visualisation with confidence. Participants described the training as informative and valuable for their thesis and dissertation progress.

The session concluded with a certificate presentation to Dr. Nur Anisa as a token of appreciation, followed by a group photo with postgraduate students and faculty members to mark the successful completion of the training.
