ALOR SETAR, 17 November 2025 – The Eco-Creative Project 2.0 officially kickstarted on 14 November 2025 under the CFGS Foundation Learning Series as an ongoing programme designed to enhance sustainability awareness and English communication skills among Foundation Studies 2025/2026 students at Albukhary International University (AIU).
Supervised by Mr. Mohd Fadli Zakaria from the Centre for Foundation and General Studies (CFGS), the initiative is strengthened by a dedicated team of undergraduate trainers from the School of Education & Human Sciences (SEHS), the School of Business & Social Sciences (SBSS), and the School of Computing & Informatics (SCI).
This project forms part of AIU’s broader mission to immerse students in key institutional themes, including Sustainability, the 3ZERO Clubs, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), and Social Business. Through guided workshops and prototype development sessions, students are encouraged to communicate sustainability concepts in English while developing practical and eco-friendly innovations.
The initiative will culminate in a public exhibition on 2 January 2026, where students will showcase their completed prototypes and awareness projects. This finale will highlight their creativity, teamwork, and emerging sustainability mindset as they progress through their academic journey at AIU.
