
USAS Library Strengthens Collaboration Through Benchmarking Visit to AIU Library

ALOR SETAR, 23 October 2025 – The Centre of Reference, Albukhary International University (AIU), was honoured to welcome a delegation from Perpustakaan Raja Ashman Shah, Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS) for a benchmarking visit aimed at strengthening professional collaboration and enhancing library service excellence, held on 22 October 2025.
The visit, held at 10.00 a.m., brought together 17 participants from the USAS Library, who were warmly welcomed by the AIU Library team before embarking on a guided tour of the Centre of Reference. The session showcased AIU’s comprehensive library operations, including user services, digital resources, collections management, research support, and learning spaces.
The benchmarking engagement provided a valuable platform to observe, compare, and exchange best practices in academic library management. Both institutions shared meaningful insights on service innovation, user engagement, and digital learning experiences to enhance support for their university communities.
USAS Chief Librarian, En. Nor Fadzil bin Shoib expressed his appreciation for the opportunity, noting, “We truly appreciate the chance to learn from the AIU Library. Knowledge-sharing sessions like this inspire new ideas and help us enhance the quality of services we offer to our users.”
The session concluded with a token exchange and group photo, marking the beginning of a promising partnership. The AIU Library looks forward to continued collaboration with USAS, particularly in staff development, resource sharing, and the advancement of academic library excellence.
