The fair brought all 19 students, enrolled in the program, creatively displaying their booths to convince parents into enrolling their children. The booths exhibited learning corners, creative arts, thematic displays, infographics etc. to convince parents of their teaching methods and operations.
The fair aimed to expose students to the real-life experience of kindergarten management, structures, policies, philosophy, and ultimately professional communication skills in dealing with adults.
The course lecturer, who is also the bearer of the Miss Creative title conferred during the 2025 Teachers’ Day celebrations in AIU, Mme. Faeizaratul Fazeila Binti Isa, expressed satisfaction with the event, and described it as 95% successful and compelling based on how students got into the character.
“I noticed nowadays more and more kindergartens are putting up such fairs to attract more parents. So I was like, ‘Why don’t I do the same so my students can exhibit professionalism instead of that typical classroom presentation?’” said Mme. Fazeila.
The Genius Kinderland—which bagged the first prize—group leader May Lin Htet described her experience as “a mix of excitement and nervousness as we prepared, wanting everything to go smoothly”. She further said, “The challenge of handling frequent questions with parents required careful planning and communication. Luckily, we got the first prize as a recognition of our hard work and creativity.”
