ALOR SETAR, 8 October 2025 – The Albukhary International University (AIU) Library proudly marked its presence at the International Digital Library Conference (InDeLib) 2025, held recently at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Sintok, Kedah. With the theme “Enabling Knowledge-Driven Communities through Intelligent Technology,” the event was co-organized by UiTM and UUM libraries, attracting academics, researchers, and librarians nationwide to showcase ideas that integrate technology with library and knowledge services.
This year’s conference saw 114 participating groups from across Malaysia as well as Thailand, with entries spanning multiple categories, including Organizations, Professionals, IPTA Students, and School Students, reflecting the breadth and diversity of library and information-related innovations.
In one capacity, Ms. Syuhada Ali (Chief Librarian), Mdm. Nurul Izzati Sabri, and Mr. Mohd Dzairil Che Darus were invited to serve as judges, reflecting the confidence of the organizing committee in AIU’s professional expertise and leadership in the field of librarianship.
In another key role, AIU staff members Ms. Rabiatul Adawiyah Zulkifli and Mdm. Ernadia Wahida Cluny, in collaboration with three lecturers from UiTM Kedah Branch, participated in the competition segment of the conference with their project, “Acknoly.me: Streamlined Submission and Acknowledgment System for Library Innovation.” The project was listed under the Silver Recognition in the Professional Category, an acknowledgment that highlights innovative, creative, and impactful projects presented during the event.
AIU Library’s dual role as both evaluator and recognized contributor reflects its dedication to advancing knowledge services and fostering collaborative innovation. The recognition at InDeLib 2025 not only elevates the profile of the university but also reinforces the library’s commitment to shaping a knowledge-driven academic community.
