AIU x Al-Tarmidhi Foundation: Nurturing Growth and Character

ALOR SETAR, 25 September 2025 – Albukhary International University (AIU), in collaboration with the Al-Tarmidhi Foundation and the Founder’s family initiative, hosted a Special Sharing Session titled “From Campus to Calling: Building a Purposeful Life” on Monday, 22 September 2025, at the Convocation Hall, AIU.

 

The session featured two distinguished international speakers: Maryam Lemu (Nigeria), International Motivational Speaker & Relationship Coach, and Edris Khamissa (South Africa), International Personal Development Coach. They inspired over 100 students and staff, with Maryam emphasizing the importance of self-reflection, discipline, and values as the foundation of success, while Edris shared his journey of overcoming shyness to build confidence and positively impact communities.

 

A highlight of the programme was Muhammad Fathir Arizalrial Waliyulloh, AIU final-year Media and Communication student and Al-Tarmidhi Foundation intern, who served as moderator — reflecting AIU’s commitment to cultivating student leadership. Organized by the CSAA Team, the session was praised as inspiring, practical, and highly relatable to student life.

 

This impactful collaboration underscored AIU’s mission to nurture holistic development and global perspectives in education, motivation, and character building.
