ALOR SETAR, 19 September 2025 – On 18 September 2025, we were delighted to welcome Mr. Mohd Zulikhwan Bin Ayub, Chief Operating Officer, and Ms. Azatul Aswa Binti Ab Wahab, Manager of Government Relations & Administration, from Women of Will (WOW).
WOW is a non-profit organisation that empowers underprivileged women, particularly single mothers, to transform their lives and the lives of their families through entrepreneurship, skills training, and community support. Their mission to uplift communities and create sustainable livelihoods resonates strongly with AIU’s vision of advancing social business, education, and human-centred development.
During the visit, both parties exchanged ideas on potential collaborations to align WOW’s impactful grassroots initiatives with AIU’s academic and community engagement programmes.
Just like geese flying together, AIU and WOW recognise the value of moving in alignment — where knowledge, action, and compassion unite to bring lasting change.
Taking part in the discussion were Dr. Noorul Hafidzah Binti Zawawi, Dean of the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS); Professor Dr. Salfarina Binti Abdul Gapor, Director of the Centre for Research and Innovation Management (CRIM); Ms. Farah Syazwani Binti Hayrol Aziz, Head of Programme for Social Development; Mr. Mohammad Ikhwan Izzat Bin Mohamad Nasir, Senior Executive of the Centre for Corporate Planning and Communication (CCPC); and Mr. Mohd Yusof Izzuddin Bin Abu Bakar, Executive of the Centre for Community and Industry Engagement (CCIE).
