
AIU’s Vice Chancellor Pays Courtesy Visit to Kedah Deputy State Secretary (Management)

ALOR SETAR, 7 February 2025 – Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh Jaafar, Vice Chancellor and President of Albukhary International University (AIU), paid a courtesy visit to YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Haji Nadzman Mustaffa, Deputy State Secretary (Management) of Kedah, yesterday at Wisma Darul Aman, to discuss potential collaborations and strengthen ties between AIU and the state administration.
During the meeting, Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh Jaafar highlighted AIU’s commitment to academic excellence, social impact, and community engagement, emphasizing the university’s role in producing globally competent graduates while fostering socioeconomic development in Kedah. Discussions also covered strategic partnerships in education, research, and student development programmes, aimed at benefiting both AIU students and the local community.
YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Haji Nadzman welcomed AIU’s initiatives and expressed appreciation for the university’s efforts in contributing to the state’s higher education landscape. He also emphasized the importance of higher education institutions working closely with state agencies to drive innovation, knowledge sharing, and community-driven projects.
The visit signifies a promising step toward strengthening collaboration between AIU and the Kedah state government, fostering a shared commitment to advancing education, enhancing research excellence, and promoting social development.
Also present during the visit were Professor Dr. Abdul Malek Abdul Karim, Dean of the School of Education and Human Sciences (SEHS) and Mr. Abdul Shakur Abdullah, Deputy Registrar and Director of the Corporate Planning and Communication Department.
