AIU Students Shine at the Malaysian Analytical Business Challenge (MABC) 2024

ALOR SETAR, 9 January 2025 – Albukhary International University (AIU) students have achieved remarkable success at the Malaysian Analytical Business Challenge (MABC) 2024, a national-level competition that brings together the brightest minds from local universities to tackle real-world business challenges through critical thinking, analytical expertise, and creative problem-solving.
Two dedicated AIU teams from the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS), guided by their esteemed supervisors, showcased their exceptional talent and commitment; Team 1: Md Minhaz Uddin (Bangladesh), Keziah Kevina Gibbs (Trinidad), Sulayman Bashir (Nigeria), and Zobayer Mahmud (Bangladesh), supervised by Prof. Dr. Nor Azilah Husin and Team 2: Ismail Usman Abdel Qadir (Sudan), Emil Secerovic (Bosnia), and Karis Theona Perani Indrianto (Indonesia), supervised by Prof. Dr. Faiz Shah.
AIU’s Team 1 secured the Gold Medal for their outstanding analytical approach and innovative problem-solving, while Team 2 earned the Silver Medal for their exceptional case study presentation and creative solutions.
The competition offered a valuable opportunity for the participating students to sharpen their analytical and communication skills while demonstrating their abilities on a national platform.
AIU extends heartfelt congratulations to both teams for their hard-earned success. Special thanks are also extended to Universiti Islam Malaysia (USIM) for hosting this competition, which fosters innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
