
AIU Philosophy Garners Praise from Thailand Islamic Private School Leadership

ALOR SETAR, 2 February 2024 – A delegation of esteemed administrators from Thailand embarked on a knowledge-sharing mission as they visited Albukhary International University (AIU) yesterday, marking a significant step towards fostering international collaboration with the University in the field of tertiary education.
Under the leadership of Manat Boonchom, the President of the Islamic Private Schools Association of Thailand, a delegation of 20 administrators from diverse Islamic private schools across Thailand embarked on this visit. The primary objective of the visit was to explore partnership opportunities, specifically in facilitating qualified candidates to pursue their studies at AIU.
Attendees conveyed their excitement regarding the visit, highlighting that it provided them with valuable insights into the University, scholarship opportunities, Social Business, the 3Zero Club, and the comprehensive admission process.
Throughout the visit, the delegation participated in an interactive session with Emeritus Professor Dato’ Dr. Abd. Aziz Tajuddin, the Vice Chancellor and President of AIU. The group also embarked on a campus tour with support from the AIU Thailand Student Association (ATSA).
Upon concluding their visit, Manat Boonchom conveyed appreciation to AIU for the warm hospitality and expressed optimism about expanding collaboration to include promising candidates from various regions across Thailand.
In attendance were Associate Professor Dr. Tengku Shahrom Tengku Shahdan, the Dean of the School of Education and Human Sciences (SEHS), along with other faculty members from SEHS.
