Facility Management Unit (FMU) is a support unit under the Chancellery Department. FMU’s main task is to plan, arrange and coordinate with relevant units between Albukhary International University (AIU) and also Puncak Perkhidmatan Kompleks Sdn. Bhd. (PPKSB) regarding the infrastructure and info-structure management of AIU (PPKSB is a facilities management company tasked to manage the assets and maintenance of all buildings in Sharifah Rokiah Centre of Excellence including AIU).
FMU duties are divided into three main categories:
Facilities Management – Involves the facilities inspection, reporting of defects, coordination for rectification or upgrading works, arrangement for facilities and amenities and preparation for events/programs/visits in AIU.
Security Management – Comprises of coordination and feedback on security operation, arrangement of security access and preparation for events/programs/visits in AIU
Fleet Management – Composed of arrangement of authorised drivers for official usage and AIU vehicles maintenance & management including fuel, toll, road tax, etc.
