
AIU Hosts Delegation of Top-Performing Government School Students from Tamil Nadu, India

ALOR SETAR, 23 February 2026 – Albukhary International University hosted a distinguished delegation of 42 top-performing Government School students and 9 accompanying officials from Tamil Nadu, India, on 13 February 2026 from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m., as part of an international educational tour initiative.
The visit, organised by the Department of School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, aimed to provide global academic exposure to outstanding students recognised for excellence in academic and co-curricular achievements. The initiative continues the Department’s tradition of arranging international visits to reputable institutions across Singapore, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.
The programme began with a welcoming session by representatives from CCPC, CSAA, and SRC, followed by an introduction to AIU’s mission, diverse international community, student life, leadership platforms, volunteerism initiatives, and the 3ZERO Club.
A sharing session by Tamil Nadu students currently studying at AIU provided first-hand insights into academic experiences and campus engagement. The delegation also participated in an interactive activity themed the “3ZERO Social Business Challenge,” encouraging collaboration and group presentations.
The visit concluded with a guided campus tour led by a Tamil Nadu student, fostering meaningful peer interaction and inspiration.
The programme strengthened educational ties and reaffirmed AIU’s commitment to international engagement and academic collaboration.
