𝐀𝐈𝐔 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐂𝐈 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬

ALOR SETAR, 12 February 2026 – A total of 130 final year students from the School of Computing and Informatics (SCI), Albukhary International University (AIU) participated in an industry exposure visit to Altel/MyTV in Cyberjaya and CelcomDigi in Subang on 6-9 February 2026.

The visit aimed to bridge classroom learning with real industry practices by providing first-hand exposure to large-scale telecommunications and digital infrastructure operations. Students gained insights into network systems, digital broadcasting, enterprise solutions, innovation strategies, and current technology trends shaping the industry, while understanding professional workplace expectations.

The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Basheer Riskhan, Dean of SCI, and Mr. Abu Bakar Ngah, SCI Lecturer and Director of the Centre for Community and Industry Engagement (CCIE). Also present were Dr. Haniza, Ms. Shafrah, and Mr. Yusof, CCIE Executive, reflecting AIU’s strong commitment to industry engagement and holistic student development.

As part of their internship preparation, students also attended the TalentBank Career Fair at Sunway Pyramid, connecting with more than 100 potential employers for networking, career insights, and internship opportunities as they prepare to transition into the professional workforce.

The initiative reflects AIU’s belief that meaningful industry exposure is essential in equipping students with confidence, competence, and clarity for their future careers in technology.
