AIU SEHS Strengthens BECE Teaching Practicum Collaboration with Love and Laugh

ALOR SETAR, 6 February 2026 โ€“ The School of Education and Human Sciences (SEHS), Albukhary International University (AIU), conducted a collaborative visit to Love and Laugh as part of efforts to strengthen partnerships for the Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (BECE) Teaching Practicum on 8 January 2026.


The visit was led by Professor Dr. Abdul Malek bin Abdul Karim, Dean of SEHS, and accompanied by Madam Samihah Mahamud, Head of Programmes for BECE, Dr. Amani Abdullah Mubarak (BEE), and Mr. Mohamad Nor Hisyam Musa (BMC).

The engagement explored opportunities to provide meaningful and practical teaching practicum placements for BECE students, with discussions focused on aligning practicum requirements with real-world early childhood education practices. This ensures students gain hands-on experience in a nurturing and professional learning environment.

This collaboration reflects SEHSโ€™s continued commitment to strengthening industry and community partnerships, supporting experiential learning, and preparing future early childhood educators with relevant skills and practical exposure. SEHS looks forward to further strengthening this collaboration in support of quality early childhood education and professional development.
