
AIU Sets 2026 Direction at Vice-Chancellor’s Address

ALOR SETAR, 3 February 2026 – Albukhary International University held its 2026 Vice-Chancellor’s Address last Friday morning at the Senate Foyer, with the participation of AIU staff across all schools, centres and departments.
In his address, the Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh bin Jaafar, shared key highlights of the university’s performance, strategic progress, and institutional priorities. The session outlined AIU’s direction for 2026, guided by the theme “Making a Difference: Empathy, Objectivity and Professionalism,” emphasising leadership values, accountability, and collective responsibility in advancing the university’s mission.
The address also reaffirmed AIU’s commitment to strengthening governance, quality education delivery, and sustainable institutional growth in line with its strategic shifts.
The session concluded with the official launching ceremony of the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organisation Management System (EOMS) Certification, marking a significant milestone in AIU’s continuous efforts to enhance quality assurance, governance, and professional standards across the university.
