AIU Welcomes His Excellency, the Ambassador of Palestine, for Courtesy Visit and Student Engagement

ALOR SETAR, 28 January 2026 – Albukhary International University (AIU) had the honour of welcoming His Excellency, the Ambassador of Palestine on 26 January 2026, for an official visit that commenced with a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor, followed by a special engagement session with Palestinian students.

The courtesy visit with the Vice Chancellor reflected the strong spirit of mutual respect and dialogue, providing an opportunity to discuss matters related to international student welfare, academic collaboration, and AIU’s commitment to supporting its global student community.

Following the courtesy visit, His Excellency met with Palestinian students at Lecture Theatre 2 (LT2) from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. The engagement session served as a meaningful platform for dialogue and shared reflection, allowing students to connect directly with their national representative. His Excellency addressed topics related to student welfare, academic journeys, and current national developments, while also offering words of encouragement and moral support.

The visit highlighted AIU’s dedication to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and globally connected learning environment. Students expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to meet the Ambassador in person, making the session a memorable and significant moment for the Palestinian student community at AIU.
