ALOR SETAR, 26 January 2026 – Albukhary International University (AIU) had the honour of welcoming Dr. Ndolembai S. Njesada, former Minister of Education of the Republic of Chad, for a courtesy visit on 12 January 2026, aimed at strengthening international educational engagement and student development.
During the visit, discussions explored potential collaboration between AIU and Dr. Njesada’s non-governmental organisation, which has been active for nearly a decade in supporting access to education. The engagement also highlighted continued efforts to support Chadian students pursuing higher education at AIU.
As part of the visit, Dr. Njesada delivered a student talk titled “Youth and Politics: Lovers or Haters?”, organised by the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS) through the Polithink Club. The session was moderated by Madiha Safi, Bachelor of Politics and International Relations (BPIR), and held at the Smart Room, SBSS Building.
Drawing from his experience as a former education minister and international practitioner, Dr. Njesada shared insights on youth participation, leadership, and the role of young people in shaping political and social change, followed by an interactive discussion with students.
The visit reflects AIU’s commitment to global engagement, meaningful partnerships, and exposing students to distinguished international leaders.
