AIU Cultural Food Fair Brings Taste, Tradition and Learning Together

ALOR SETAR, 22 January 2026 – The School of Education and Human Sciences (SEHS), Albukhary International University (AIU), through the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECE) programme, successfully hosted a Cultural Food Fair at the BECE Simulation Room, B11 on 19 January 2026.


The event, themed “A Celebration of Taste, Tradition and Togetherness,” featured project presentations by first-year BECE students as part of the course ECCI143 Play in Early Childhood Education. Students showcased culturally inspired food displays designed as playful learning tools, demonstrating how food, culture, and play can be meaningfully integrated into early childhood pedagogy.

Through hands-on presentations, students displayed creativity, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity while connecting academic concepts with real classroom practices. The initiative reflects AIU’s commitment to holistic, values-driven education by promoting experiential learning, intercultural understanding, and community engagement.
