
AIU Cultural Food Fair Brings Taste, Tradition and Learning Together

The event, themed “A Celebration of Taste, Tradition and Togetherness,” featured project presentations by first-year BECE students as part of the course ECCI143 Play in Early Childhood Education. Students showcased culturally inspired food displays designed as playful learning tools, demonstrating how food, culture, and play can be meaningfully integrated into early childhood pedagogy.
Through hands-on presentations, students displayed creativity, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity while connecting academic concepts with real classroom practices. The initiative reflects AIU’s commitment to holistic, values-driven education by promoting experiential learning, intercultural understanding, and community engagement.
