Al-QISC Kicks Off Semester with “Life Beyond Campus” Lecture by AIU Vice Chancellor

ALOR SETAR, 22 December 2025 – Al-Qisc Da’wah Department, in collaboration with the Student Representative Council (SRC), successfully organised the Al-Qisc Monthly Lecture titled Life Beyond Campus at the AIU Auditorium on 14 December 2025, marking the first official programme of the semester.

The session opened with welcoming remarks by the Al-Qisc President, followed by a doa led by Zaid Omar. The lecture was delivered by AIU Vice Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh Bin Jaafar, who shared meaningful insights on finding purpose as Muslim youths, balancing dunya and akhirah, building discipline and character, strengthening community, and navigating life challenges with knowledge and wisdom.

The lecture received strong participation from students across faculties, with active engagement throughout the session and a meaningful Q&A segment with the Vice Chancellor.

The programme was smoothly executed through the collective efforts of the Al-Qisc committee and SRC, with support from the Al-Qisc High Committee and all departments. The organisers expressed sincere appreciation for the guidance and encouragement received, which continue to strengthen student-led da’wah and leadership initiatives at AIU.
