AIU Team Wins Gold Award at the Business Case Study Idea Virtual Competition 2025

ALOR SETAR, 19 November 2025 – The Pay2Power (P2P) team from Albukhary International University won the Gold Award at the Business Case Study Idea Virtual Competition 2025 hosted by Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. The competition showcased innovative solutions to real-world challenges, and Pay2Power stood out for its contribution to energy accessibility.

Developed by team members Fathima Asmaa Hassan Shifly, Nur Alia Wan Zakariah, and Mariyam Nihara Ousmand, the project focuses on improving access to energy in underserved communities through a sustainable and user-friendly digital tool. The team’s emphasis on practicality, social value, and technological innovation contributed to the recognition received at the national level.

Guided by their advisor, Madam Aliaa Diyana Zamri, the team expressed their gratitude for her consistent support and expert mentorship that helped refine their concept and strengthen their preparation for the competition.

This achievement marks a meaningful milestone for the Pay2Power team and reflects AIU’s commitment to nurturing young innovators who are dedicated to addressing societal challenges.
