AIU Students Engage in National Innovation Showcase at Festival of Ideas 2025

ALOR SETAR, 18 November 2025 – The Festival of Ideas Putrajaya (FOI) 2025, held from 4 to 8 November at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC), brought together students, professionals, and thought leaders for a vibrant national celebration of ideas and innovation. The event, themed “MADANI: Shaping the Future, Turning Ideas Into Reality,” featured inspiring talks, a career carnival, university showcases, and a dynamic International Arena that highlighted global perspectives in education and youth empowerment.

A group of students from Albukhary International University (AIU) attended and actively participated in the programme, gaining exposure to real-world opportunities, career pathways, and cutting-edge technology demonstrations. One meaningful highlight for the students was the contribution from MyCARE, which provided RM200 worth of support to participating local students, an initiative that enriched their learning and eased their participation throughout the multi-day programme.

FOI 2025 also hosted a robust career fair, giving students the opportunity to interact directly with industry representatives, explore internship openings, and understand emerging talent needs in Malaysia’s evolving job landscape. The International Arena sessions further expanded their perspectives through discussions on global issues, youth development, and cross-cultural collaboration.

AIU’s participation reflects the university’s commitment to encouraging students to explore beyond the classroom, engage in national-level platforms, and be part of Malaysia’s growing ecosystem of innovation, creativity, and thought leadership.
