AIU SCI Students Raise CyberSecurity Awareness at PLUS Malaysia Outreach Program
ALOR SETAR, 5 November 2025 – On 22 October 2025, ten students from the School of Computing and Informatics (SCI), Albukhary International University (AIU), accompanied by Prof. Dr. Khalid Hussain and Dr. Nor Haniza Mohd Khir, proudly participated in the Cybersecurity Outreach Program held at R&R Tapah (Southbound), organised by PLUS Malaysia Berhad.
Invited by AIU Adjunct Lecturer Prof. Ts. Dr. Johari from PLUS, the initiative aimed to educate highway users about the dangers of financial scams and promote safe online practices. It provided an excellent opportunity for students to engage directly with the public, spreading vital knowledge on digital safety and cybersecurity awareness.
The program reflects AIU’s strong commitment to community engagement and digital literacy, empowering students to contribute meaningfully to society while applying their classroom knowledge to real-world contexts.
