AIU Students Shine at ASEAN Tilawah and Quran Memorisation Competition 2025/2026

ALOR SETAR, 30 October 2025 – Albukhary International University (AIU) proudly participated in the ASEAN Higher Education Institutions Tilawah and Quran Memorisation Competition 2025/2026, held from 24 to 26 October 2025 at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Terengganu.

Representing AIU were Nur Ain Syadiah binti Ahmed Mashoor, a student of Bachelor of Business Administration (Human Resource Management), and Fanji Maulana Arrifkani, a student of Bachelor of Politics and International Relations (BPIR), both from the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS).

Both participants performed exceptionally well, placing within the Top 20 among 53 contestants from various ASEAN higher education institutions. Although they did not advance to the final round, their participation provided invaluable exposure, learning experience, and personal growth in their Quranic journey.

The AIU community extends heartfelt appreciation to the students for their dedication, perseverance, and inspiring representation of the university, and wishes them continued success in their academic and spiritual pursuits.
