AIU Student Representative Council Strengthens Ties with AIMST University Through Official Visit

ALOR SETAR, 16 October 2025 – With the kind invitation from AIMST University, the Student Representative Council (SRC) of Albukhary International University (AIU) paid an official visit to AIMST University on 10 October 2025.

During the visit, the AIU SRC had the privilege of meeting Prof. Dr. Kiran Reddy, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of AIMST University. Also present at the meeting were Mr. Mohamed Amin bin Mohamed Ibrahim, President of the AIMST Global Family Club (AGF), together with his team members, and officers from the AIMST Student Affairs Department, Mr. Shashini Kanth A/L Sandarajah and Mr. Thirumalai A/L Peromal.

The AIU delegation comprised members of the SRC, including the President, Vice-President I, Vice-President II, Secretary, Treasurer, Exco of Public Relations, Exco of Students’ Welfare, and Exco of Media.

Following the meeting, a Meet & Greet session was held with members of the AIMST Global Family Club (AGF), fostering friendship and mutual understanding among international student representatives from both institutions.

The visit concluded with a comprehensive campus tour led by AGF members, during which the AIU delegates explored several faculties, including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, and other key academic facilities of AIMST University.

AIU extends its heartfelt gratitude to AIMST University and the AIMST Global Family Club for their warm hospitality and meaningful engagement throughout the visit.
