The AIU team, led by Mr. Aiman Muqri Ahmad Shukri, with team members Ms. Farah Syazwani Hayrol Aziz and Ms. Nur Jazanadia Jamaludin, presented an innovative project titled “Empowering Students with Disabilities through AI-Enhanced Social Entrepreneurship.” The project integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into vocational and social entrepreneurship training for students with disabilities, promoting inclusivity, sustainability, and technological empowerment in education. It reflects AIU’s 3Zero philosophy—Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, and Zero Net Carbon—by enabling students to produce and market eco-friendly products such as soap and candles made from recycled materials.
Through the use of AI platforms including ChatGPT and PowerPoint Copilot, the project enhances learning accessibility, improves communication, and supports creative marketing initiatives. It demonstrates how AI can help bridge educational gaps and strengthen entrepreneurial potential among learners with disabilities.
Organized by UTM’s Center for Advancement in Digital and Flexible Learning (CDex), NALI (New Academia Learning Innovation) serves as a national platform for recognizing innovative practices in teaching and learning. Participants from various institutions competed in categories such as instructional design, student-centred learning, assessment, and curriculum innovation.
AIU’s recognition at NALI 2025 highlights the university’s continuous efforts to champion inclusive, value-based, and technology-driven education, aligning with its mission to nurture ethical, capable, and socially responsible graduates.
