AIU Renews MoUs With Nigerian And Uganda Zakat Bodies, Signs New Deal with UKBET to Support Student Recruitment

LANGKAWI, 12 September 2025 – On 11 September 2025, Albukhary International University (AIU) has renewed its Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the House of Zakat and Waqf Uganda and the Sokoto State Zakat and Waqf Endowment Commission, Nigeria.

In addition, AIU has signed a new MoU with the UK Bangladesh Education Trust (UKBET) to facilitate the recruitment of talented students from Bangladesh.

These MoUs will further strengthen AIU’s commitment to providing quality education opportunities to deserving bright students through strategic partnerships with quality partners.

AIU signatories were Prof. Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh Bin Jaafar, Vice Chancellor and President, along with Prof. Dr. Hj. Mohamad Abdullah Bin Hemdi, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic).

The signing ceremonies were held at Pelangi Beach Resort, Langkawi.
