AIU Successfully Completes MQA Full Accreditation Audit for Bachelor of Politics and International Relations (Honours) Programme

ALOR SETAR, 2 September 2025 – Albukhary International University (AIU) has successfully completed the Full Accreditation (FA) Audit Visit conducted by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) for its Bachelor of Politics and International Relations (Honours) programme on 25 and 26 August 2025 (Monday and Tuesday).

The two-day audit involved a comprehensive evaluation conducted by the panel of assessors appointed by MQA. This process included several key sessions, such as interviews with the Head of Programme, selected academic staff, and students enrolled in the programme. Additionally, representatives from the Student Representative Council (SRC), brief meetings with counsellors and the Student Affairs team, and personnel from the Centre for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (CQAA) were also involved.

The audit also featured a campus tour that showcased AIU’s teaching and learning facilities, such as the computer laboratory, classrooms, strong room, and university library, highlighting the physical resources that support the programme.

During the visit, the panel provided constructive feedback in certain areas for further improvement but expressed overall satisfaction with the programme’s quality and delivery. The official outcome of the audit will be announced at the upcoming Majlis Jawatankuasa Akreditasi (MJA) meeting scheduled for September 2025.

The CQAA extends its appreciation to all stakeholders involved for their cooperation and professionalism throughout the audit process.
