The regional programme, organised by the Regional Islamic Da’wah Council of Southeast Asia and the Pacific (RISEAP), gathered emerging Muslim women leaders from 12 countries across the Asia-Pacific region. Over five days, participants engaged in a series of structured workshops, keynote sessions, and dialogues covering topics such as ecological responsibility in Islam, community leadership, and faith-driven development. The event also featured cultural exchange activities aimed at fostering regional solidarity.
Distinguished guests included Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dato’ Hajah Hanifah Hajar Taib, Chairman of Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) Dato’ Dr. Marzuki Mohamad, as well as regional leaders including the Governor of West Sumatera and the Mayor of Padang.
