Centre for Graduate Studies Marks a Milestone with Inaugural AIU Postgraduate Colloquium

ALOR SETAR, 9 July 2025 – The Centre for Graduate Studies at Albukhary International University (AIU) celebrated a significant academic milestone with the successful organisation of its 1st AIU Postgraduate Colloquium, held on 7–8 July 2025. The two-day event brought together postgraduate students, academic experts, and research enthusiasts in a vibrant platform dedicated to scholarly exchange and academic growth.

The colloquium opened with a warm address by Professor Dr. Yusnidah Ibrahim, Director of the Centre for Graduate Studies. In her speech, she encouraged participants to seize this opportunity to enhance their research competencies, engage meaningfully in academic discussions, and receive constructive feedback to support their postgraduate journey.

One of the highlights of the event was the keynote address by Associate Professor Dr. Aidi Ahmi from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). His presentation, titled “Foundations of Bibliometric Analysis: Concepts, Methods and Application,” offered an insightful exploration into bibliometric research. The session sparked lively dialogue and interest among attendees, reinforcing the importance of analytical tools in modern research.

The colloquium also featured parallel presentation sessions, where postgraduate students showcased their research findings across four distinct tracks. Each session was assessed by a panel of esteemed internal and external reviewers:
