Walk & Run for Palestine 2025 Brings Community Together for a Cause
ALOR SETAR, 26 May 2025 — On Saturday, 24 May 2025, the scenic trails of Taman Tasik Darul Aman in Jitra came alive with energy and purpose as the Walk & Run for Palestine 2025 took off. The event, organized by MyCARE in collaboration with PEMUDA KEMAS, MPKP, NGO INSAF, Mutiara Motors, HARMONI, Bina Darulaman Berhad, Geliga Global, and Albukhary International University (AIU), brought people from all walks of life together to show solidarity with the people of Palestine.
Participants had the option to join either a 5KM Fun Run or a more leisurely 2.5KM Fun Walk — both symbolizing support through movement and unity. Among the crowd were around 80 enthusiastic students from AIU, reflecting the strong spirit of youth advocacy and compassion for global humanitarian issues.
The atmosphere was vibrant, with everyone receiving a special event t-shirt, finisher medal, and wristband, along with the excitement of lucky draw prizes. More than just a run or a walk, the event successfully combined physical activity with a heartfelt message of solidarity, creating a space for awareness, connection, and community action.
