ALOR SETAR, 22 May 2025 — Among the proud Albukhary International University (AIU) graduates were former students of Kolej ProfesionalBaitulmal Kuala Lumpur (KPBKL), particularly those from the Diploma in Hajj and Umrah Management and Diploma in Zakat and Wakaf programmes. These students continued their academic journey at AIU, where they earned their degrees and discovered their voice, purpose, and potential.
Ku Muhammad Mirza, now a teacher at Noah Education, described his experience at AIU as transformative.
“My journey at AIU was incredibly positive. The supportive lecturers and nurturing environment motivated me throughout my studies. The campus was well-equipped, and I truly enjoyed every part of the learning experience.”
Nor Aina Mardiah Binti Zubir, currently teaching at SRITI Bukit Puchong, echoed this sentiment, recalling a stress-free and uplifting student experience. “AIU made everything easy, studying, adapting, even thriving. The lecturers were kind and never pressured us, even during challenging assignments or projects. Friendships with students from diverse backgrounds helped me grow in understanding and acceptance. It was an eye-opening experience.” She added, “The facilities were complete and comfortable, giving us everything we needed to succeed. AIU shaped me into the teacher I am today. I hope to return to my former school, or any school, to promote AIU. What I gained here is something I’ll carry for life.”
Nurussa’adah Binti Haji Musa, now serving as a Human Resource Assistant in the government sector, spoke about the personal and professional transformation she experienced.
“At AIU, I became more confident, independent, and goal-driven. The teaching was clear and inspiring, and the environment kept me focused. Facilities like the library, café, and study spaces played a big part in supporting our academic journey. It truly prepared me for my career in human resources.”
Another alumna, Nurnajiehah Binti Abu Jamil, now a teacher at IIUM International School, reflected on her time at AIU as both meaningful and empowering.
These stories capture a common experience at AIU, in partnership with KPBKL, that provided more than just an academic foundation. It laid the groundwork for future leadership, meaningful service, and lasting community impact.
For these graduates, AIU was more than a university; it was a turning point. Now stepping into roles across classrooms, communities, and organisations nationwide, they carry with them a strong desire to give back and to open the same life-changing doors for others.
