AIU Receives Generous Waqf Book Donation from Dr. Mohamed Sabir Jamaludin

ALOR SETAR, 10 January 2025 – Albukhary International University (AIU) extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mohamed Sabir Jamaludin for his generous donation of waqf books to the AIU Library yesterday.

The donated waqf books, titled “Muhammad The Messenger” and “Cabaran Dakwah Nabi Muhammad”, are authored by Dr. Mohamed Sabir himself and showcase his deep commitment to sharing knowledge and inspiring a greater appreciation of Islamic history and teachings.

This contribution will enrich the library’s collection and provide students and the AIU community with valuable resources to explore the life and message of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the challenges faced in his mission.

Such acts of generosity align with AIU’s mission to create a nurturing environment for learning and knowledge-sharing. The university sincerely thanks Dr. Mohamed Sabir Jamaludin for his meaningful contribution and commitment to empowering education through waqf initiatives.

The waqf books were received on behalf of the university by Prof. Dr. Hj. Mohamad Abdullah Hemdi, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), along with Madam Norpisah Mat Isa, Registrar. Also in attendance were Mr. Abdul Shakur Abdullah, Director of Corporate Planning and Communication, and Miss Syuhada Ali, Chief Librarian.
